RULES FOR PRESS CREDENTIALS & HOW TO APPLY

The period to requests Press Passes is CLOSED (we required that press passes must be submitted IN WRITING IN ADVANCE, and received no later than April 27, 2018). Press requests will NOT be granted on-site.

If you have questions, please contact us by email

For print or online publications, please include a direct link or pdf copy of the publication with your request. If granted a credential, you must provide at least ten (10) complimentary hard copies of the issue in which our coverage appears, within 60 days of the publication date.

For television shows and/or documentaries (film or video), please submit a written proposal to us and The Orleans (see below) detailing your project. If granted permission to film, you must provide at least ten (10) complimentary DVD copies to the BHoF upon air/release.

For bloggers, while we appreciate the support of digital media professionals, we are only able to consider requests for credentials from outlets able to document an extensive (and relevant) distribution/subscriber base.

For photographers, we do not give press passes to unaffiliated photographers, so please do not apply unless you can confirm that you are on assignment, with a guaranteed outlet/publishing date for your images. Independent photographers may purchase tickets and shoot select BHoF Weekender activities, provided they register with our PR Team and agree to abide by the Photo/Video Policy & Code of Conduct.

All attendees and members of the media must agree to the Photo/Video Policy & Code of Conduct. If you are unable to abide by this agreement, please do not apply.

YOU MUST MAKE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS IN ALL CASES. We will NOT give out credentials on-site during the Weekender without advance approval, even if you have valid media ID.

Distribution of credentials: Credentials are distributed at the discretion of the BHoF and can be revoked at any time, should BHoF and the Orleans feel such action is called for.

Credentials must be visible at all times. Upon receipt, you will be required to sign a form confirming that you have read, understand, and agree to the Press and Photo/Video policies.

POST-WEEKENDER FOLLOW-UP

Your request must be submitted by January 15, 2024. There are no exceptions to this rule.
