Purpose

These guidelines were created to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of all participants.

Scope

These guidelines apply to all participants including the models, photographers, Frolic Leaders, Frolic Liaison and BHoF production staff.

The guidelines are available online at the Photo Frolic Facebook group. In addition a hard copy will be available onsite during the event.

Guidelines

1. Logistics

Model and Photographer Check-In is 30-45 minutes prior to loading the bus. The bus will leave promptly at 11:00 am from the Orleans Valet. Photographers will ride in the front half, models in the back half separated by a changing curtain.

2. Consent to Be Photographed

All attendees give their general consent to being photographed by all photographers in any group setting during any point in the outing. If a photographer is working with a model(s) individually, specific consent is also required. Consent is key. If you are not sure, ask!

3. Professional Conduct

All participants will conduct themselves in a professional manner. Unwanted attention, harassment, or inappropriate touching or behavior is never OK. The safety of attendees, especially models, is our number one priority.

4. Expulsion for Cause

All attendees must adhere to the Guidelines. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in expulsion from the Frolic. Attendees who are expelled with cause will not be eligible for a refund.

The Frolic Leaders are tasked with oversight of all attendees to ensure their adherence to the guidelines. Attendees should reasonably follow the direction and guidance provided by the Leaders.

5. Attire and Propriety

The Photo Frolic locations will be a mixture of public and private spaces. In public spaces, all attendees are expected to be dressed appropriately. In private spaces, it is the model’s prerogative to decide how he/she is dressed. Photographers are expected to stay fully clothed during the entire trip. (Swim trunks for Photographers are acceptable at locations where a pool/water is involved.) Attendees will understand that there could be models in various stages of undress including various degrees of nudity; participant discretion is advised.

6. Identification of Participants

We will make every effort to identify each model and photographer before or after the event. All updates will be made in the Photo Frolic Facebook group.

7. Use and Publishing of Photographs

All photos are for the private, non-commercial use of the participants. If any attendee wants to use/publish photos commercially they are required to get permission from any model/photographer involved with the photo. Photographers should post photos first in the Burlesque Hall of Fame Photo Frolic Facebook group except for nude photos (see specific guideline below). Photographers must have model consent to post Frolic Photos outside of Facebook group.

8. Restrictions on Nude Photographs

Photographers are prohibited from posting nudes anywhere online without the explicit permission of the model(s). Whenever posted, photos should credit the photographer and model(s).
